A real problem that most of us have...

*Long post warning!*

This is a REAL problem that most of us have.

OVER EATING
.

You guys, I thought I planned out my 30-day system out PERFECTLY!!!
I really thought so.
Shake days, cleanse days, and days when I knew I'd have cake....

So what happened??

I let loose. I went crazy. I ate more than I ever do. Seriously.
Since Sunday (a cake day!), I have eaten, constantly, everything in sight.
What can I say about this?
"It happens."
Because it does.

But here's the thing.

DO NOT GO BACK TO THE BEGINNING!!!!

Imagine that you're pushing your car up a hill.
It's taking a long time, it's difficult, you feel like giving up, and you begin to slip.
You go down the hill a little ways. What do you do now?

You don't give in. Do not let go and let it roll all the way back down to the bottom.
You dig your heels in and push harder.

STARTING IN THE MIDDLE IS MUCH EASIER THAN STARTING AT THE BOTTOM!!!

Same goes with weight loss, muscle building, and changing your lifestyle.

My eating habits are sometimes awful. I spiral downward. I forget what my goals are.
All it takes is one pair of jeans being too tight to remind me.
It takes my little one staring at me, wide-eyed, as I take "bites" off of his plate. (WOW....)
One look in the mirror after THREE DAYS of CRAP eating... and I'm done.

Time do dig in my heels, ya'll.

So I'm not back at the beginning.
The beginning for me was almost 40 lbs heavier than right now.

The only time I will allow myself to get back to that point is if I'm growing a human.

But I am back to my beginning weight of my 30-day.
Yeah. I'm there.
All that hard work that I've done feels like it was for nothing...

But guess what? Nutritional cleansing isn't all-or-nothing change.
My body will rebound back onto the track I was on much easier.
The weight will still come off.
The inches will still fall from my waistline (and many other places).

So let's finish this, guys.
I still have more than two weeks to go, and I can turn it around.

I've lost so much weight with this system already, I know I can do it.
My health has gotten so much better, I know I can do it.
I haven't felt good over eating for the last few days, so I KNOW I can do it.

This is a wagon that is easy to jump back into.
So that's it guys.

No. More. Over. Eating.

My husband is doing this with me. We're a team.
No more junk in our grocery basket.
No more junk in our cupboard.
No more junk in the trunk.

Oh geez... Day 3 update!!!

Hey guys, SORRY I'M A SLACKER!!!! Here is an update on my 30-Day Challenge!

Day 1 went as followed:

Woke up, had some water, did some pilates and some light arm exercises, nothing too big.
Had my IsaLean shake with IsaGreens and IsaFruits, vitamins, Natural Accelerator.
More water, made breakfast for my boys, played with boys, and Disney Junior channel time.
Shared a banana with the kiddos, more play time, (also pinterest time... yeah...).
THEN THE WIND STARTED TO BLOW!!! So our afternoon walk was RUINED....
Lunch IsaLean shake had Orange Want-More-Energy mixed in (so it totally tasted like an orange creamy!).
Naptime for Mason - kindle time for Brevan - more pinterest/fb time for mama.
Dinner was a salad and chicken/artichoke/mozzarella hot pocket thingy. Pretty yummy!

Day 2 was sort of the same:

Food went Shake (accelerator, vitamins) - lunch (salad and turkey) - IsaLean Soup though.
No exercise today, except playing with my boys.
Brevan baked these yummy cookies, and our relief society gals brought brownies. LUCKY ME!!!

Day 3 (today) was a cleanse day:

Light pilates with Brevan. Then early morning Cleanse for Life drink.
Two chocolate Isagenix Snacks! with water and a Natural Accelerator.
More cleanse.
More water. More snacks. An IsaDelight.
More cleanse!
Snacks, IsaDelight, Water.
and finally the last cleanse.
Currently drinking some water!

So I came up with my 30-day Schedule (finally) since the system is flexible.

DAYS 1-30: (My Day 1 is February 13th, Day 30 is March 14th, so I'll take my final measurements the morning of March 15th!)

  30. Cleanse
Day 31: I will take my measurements and final pictures!

YES - there are a LOT of cleanse days here... This is what you call a "Race to Maintenance."
It's important to remember to keep AT LEAST 5 Shake Days between your Cleanse Days, and only have 2 Cleanse Days AT MOST! I threw some 1-day cleanses in their to fit my lifestyle (my son's 4th birthday MUST be on a shake day! I want some cake!!).

You Cleanse and Replenish until you get to your desired goal.
I hit my goal weight before (130 lbs) but my body composition wasn't really what I wanted.
So we will just look at the way my body looks and the inches, because that's what I'm aiming to change. (Yes, I'll share my weight as well, but it's just a number! *wink*)

Follow me on Facebook & Pinterest!!

And YES - I will share my before pictures... on day 31. ;)

So I've gone back to old eating habits... But wait just one minute....

So, for the last two days, I've completely avoided my "health stuff" cupboard, and I went back to eating what most people would consider "normal," (which I DID consider normal, 2 1/2 years ago!).

Breakfast consisted of milk and cereal, maybe a couple bites of my todders' banana, a sandwich for lunch (and even skipped lunch yesterday, had a biscuit instead), and last night's dinner was a burger and fries, shared with my toddler. I even had a couple cookies today at a homeschool co-op meeting!

(My kids have LOVED the last two "junk food" days, by the way!)

[No, I didn't drink soda or eat fast food, I didn't have chips or snack mindlessly either. I felt bad enough as it was!]

*sigh*

What have these last two days shown me? Well, for one, I FEEL LIKE CRAP!!!!

I can't believe how quickly the headaches started...
I'm gassy, bloated, and just not feeling like myself AT ALL...

Secondly, I'm not "regular," you know what I mean???
That's an awful feeling that I never wanted to go through again...

And lastly, the bloat is making all of my clothes look ridiculous... (And by my clothes, I mean me...)

My pants are tight, my shirts are not hiding anything...
even my yoga pants aren't doing me any favors here....

NOW WHAT??????

Why the heck did I do this for myself?? So I can show everyone how to do a cleanse!
OH YES!!

I'll be taking pictures in the morning (along with a daily paper showing the date and all that fancy-shmancy weight loss picture stuff) and I'll take more pictures as the days go on.
I want to SHOW everyone how fast and easy you can drop the weight.

Am I going to have one foot in the bathroom at all times?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!!!!!!
I'm not doing a colon cleanse, ya'll. I'm using a nutritional cleansing program.
Healthy, safe, easy, affordable, and did I mention easy?!?

Yes, I'm going to throw in some light exercise. Nothing that anybody couldn't do.
My jogging stroller will be used (at a walking pace) and my kiddos will enjoy some fresh air for a little while each day, then we'll play in what's left of the snow in our yard.
Sounds easy enough. I'm not going turbo guys..

I'll be writing here (hopefully) every night, for some quick updates.
What I'm eating.
What exercise I'm doing.
What my cleansing schedule/routine is.
Blah, blah, blah.

So, that's it for tonight, guys!
I hope you follow me on Facebook to see my daily updates.
I also post other cleansing stories from my Isabuddies!

Finding your WHY

Find Your Why....
(what does that even mean.....)
Do you know WHY you're working yourself to the bone every day?
Do you know WHY your husband or wife is spending 40+ hours
away from you every day?

What is the reason?

Money?
Retirement savings?
You don't have a choice??
Because you WANT to?????

Ok... What about your family?

Why are your parents working well into their golden years?
Why are your kids going to daycare or to school, spending 8+ hours with someone other than you?

If someone said, "I'll pay you $500 a week
to stay away from your husband/wife/kids,"
would you do it?

WHY?

I know that I might sound CRAZY to you... but I want a different kind of WHY...

I want the "WHY is my husband spending more time at home with me and the kids?"
"WHY are my parents going into retirement EARLY?"
"WHY do you look so much healthier than you did 6 months ago?"

FIND YOUR WHY

I want my husband home, to spend his days with our children, to do
the goo-goo eyes at each other all day, every day.

I want my parents and my mother-in-law to retire, ASAP.
They've worked so hard, they deserve it, and I want to give it to them.

I also want to retire my siblings, if you can believe it!
I want them to spend more time with their own families,
playing with their kids, doing goo-goo eyes with their partners, and such...

Not only that, but I want to pass on the early retirement
to my children, to my nieces and nephews, and to my grandchildren.

Is this CRAZY to you???

So what am I doing to make this happen? And why am I doing it?

I am sharing my gift with everyone.
I'm passing it on to whoever will use it.
Those who want to lose weight, I will be there for them.
I'm sharing my vision of what my life is, what it can be, and what it WILL be.
I'm finding people who GET IT, the people who understand what FREEDOM looks like.
I am spreading my ENERGY around with whoever will soak it up.

WHY?
Simple.

Because I want EVERYONE to be happy.
I want every person to have the great health that they wish they had.
I want YOU to have the freedom and TIME to be with the ones that you love,

So yeah... CRAZY!!! Crazy Awesome.

Don't have a WHY yet? Do you have a WHAT?
LET ME HELP YOU FIND YOUR WHY

Happy New Year! How are YOU doing with your New Year's Resolutions??

Happy New Year! Let's make 2014 the best year yet!!
If you're anything like me, you try out a few new things every year and try to drop a few things as well, but I will tell you one thing, Isagenix is here to stay!!

My new goals and resolution include Isagenix, every year! And the bad habits that I try to kick usually have Isagenix tied in there one way or another, but not in a bad way.

My little family's 2014 goals are:
1. Spend more time with family (and friends). *This includes Justin being able to spend more time at home, as well as attending more family functions and friend's events!*
2. Grow our own food, allowing us to eat healthier.
3. Teach my kids new and healthier habits,
(including, but not limited to, daily exercise and eating new foods). Make it fun!!!
4. Downsize our unnecessary possessions, (declutter).
5. Get rid of some bills, (move toward getting off the grid!).
6. Spend more time outdoors.
7. Get out of the house and travel more often.

And guess what?

ALL THESE THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH ISAGENIX!!!!

Just thought I'd throw that out there!!!

;)

In other news: I started another 9-day cleanse!
I began on Thursday, January 9th. In the first four days, I released 2.4 pounds and 4.5 inches!
Not too shabby for just four days!
My next deep cleanse is this weekend, and I'm already looking forward to it!

My 90-Day Game Plan will begin next month, (I'm laying out the plan for my Game Plan...) and I'm so excited!! Justin and I need to have a chat about how we're going to accomplish certain goals in just 90 days, but it will be very fun! Yes, it will be hard work, but the more people we add to our team, the easier it will become.

I'll update again on Monday morning, after my 9-day cleanse is over! WOOT WOOT!!

***Come by my house on January 25th from 3-5pm for an Isagenix New Year Launch Party!!! Go to facebook to RSVP!!!***
